is the router you got from your ISP a gateway router meaning that it is a modem/router? If so you lwill need them to turn off the wireless side of the gateway so it works as a standard modem. Then your router should work just fine. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Diakogeorgiou" <[email protected]>

I am using 2.4 I can tell because I gave the two networks a different name.
I guess I am wondering what encryption method I should choose.

Hi,

Are you using 802.11N at 5GHZ? Apparently the iPhone 4 supports 11N, but
only at 2.4. I'm not sure if this would result in a failed connect, but it
might be something worth looking into.

Cheers,
Ben.

Hi:I am trying to connect my iphone 4 to a wireless network. I had no
problems when using the router provided by my phone/internet company.
However when I switched to my own router I can't seem to get it to
work. I am using wp2 and have tried various lengths of keys. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
