I don't know about the check box as I seldom use text messages. The listen button is there so you can issue another command to Siri without having to hold the home button again. Have you tried saying "Send" instead of Confirm? I don't know if that makes any difference. Have you asked the person you send messages to if they got the message?

I have sometimes used Siri to send a text message to my husband or sister, send me a reminder, or dial a phone number not in my contacts. I get to the point of either saying or double tapping "confirm," which I do. But the message is still on my screen, leaving me with the uneasy feeling that it has not yet been sent, even though I have double tapped confirm. . Also, there is an unchecked checkbox and I can't tell what it is for. Finally, there is a "listen" button which, if I tapped, produces the sound one gets when one engages Siri to begin with. I don't understand the purpose of the "listen" button if the message has been confirmed or what that checkbox is for. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
