I figured it out but what happened on my computer was that half of the
folders were left in the Automatically add to iTunes folder for some reason.

I am not sure what you are asking.

On my computer, Vista Home premium, If I put anything in the Automatically
add to iTunes Folder, when I next run iTunes, all that music is moved into
its respective locations under the music folder.

If they were tagged correctly, they remainin their folders, but are now in
the music folder instead of the Automatically add to iTunes folder.

Confusedly,

Richard

I just recently added folders of music to the Automatically add to iTunes
folder. I just discovered that all but a few of the folders are now showing
and the songs that were not in a folder are no longer showing as well.
Fortunately, I have a backup copy of the folder that contains all the music
that should be on the phone and in that folder. Anyone know of how to get
the files and folders visible again? iTunes is still recognizing all the
files that have been added as being there. So, they did not get deleted
somehow.

Thanks,
