Hi Mark,my daughter bought an UP24 for me for Christmas not knowing that I bought myself a Fitbit Flex 2 weeks previously. I have decided to wear them both for a while and there are features in both I like. I like the fact that you can start and stop monitoring a work out from the UP24 itself, you can start and stop sleep mode without having to go tto the app. to do so. Yes, the app. is rather tricky to use, but if you ignore the things you don't understand and close it and remove it from the app. switcher when you get stuck you can get by. I have written to Jawbone making suggestions I would like them to implement such as numbers rather than graphics to quantify and qualify sleep and have received a prompt and encouraging response, of course, they can say nice things and do nothing about it. Both devices are as comfortable as each other to wear, the Flex can only track exercise via a GPS connection from what I can gather, no good to me as I use an IPod Touch to interface with the device,You can see your stats and all that on the Fitbit site but I find it a bit difficult to use. I still can't decide which unit I like best, so, will carry on wearing them both for a little longer. I will write again to Jawbone at the address you provided, let's hope someone will take notice of what we say and do something about it. My 2 cents worth! all the best! Marie
