Hi Rose.
Yes, if Zoom is enabled, you will not be able to use VoiceOver at the
same time. If your husband is a Zoom user, I'd ask him to turn Zoom
off for you if you cannot achieve this via iTunes. This should solve
your VoiceOver issue.
