Hi all,
Just received my bluetooth keyboard by Amazon Basics.
After some teething troubles inserting the batteries, pairing was easy and
works like any other bluetooth keyboard; enter the code displayed on the
keyboard and press enter. If successful you can start using it immediately. If
not, keep trying until the pairing is successful.
I am using it now as I write. The layout is similar to that of the Apple
keyboard, however it is made of plastic and not metal. Also, there is a
separate on/off switch and a slightly recessed pair button next to the battery
which is located at the back. This is compared to one big button on the side
which acts as both on/off and pair button on the Apple keyboard. As the
batteries, the Amazon Basics keyboard takes two AAA batteries whereas AA
batteries are used on the Apple. Also, sliding the cover in the down position
is all it needs to remove and replace the batteries compared to using a device
like a coin to remove and replace the batteries. This is for the Amazon Basics
and Apple keyboards respectively.
I hope this is a short but good review of this keyboard by Amazon Basics. I
think for under £20.00 U.K. it's good for what it does and no doubt will last
some time.
