Of course you'd have to check the read me for each firmware update;
there could be new functionality, but I'd guess it's more likely to
contain bug fixes and performance improvements. I agree with you though,
if you don't have a problem don't upgrade. Check the read me first and
see if you stand to gain from the upgrade.

I am curious as to what you gain by upgrading the firmware on a device

fix it?

Re: the last message about the legend and Siri, I should have mentioned
that
Siri activates just fine when using the long press home button method. The
issue I mentioned is only when attempting to activate Siri by pressing the
call button for 2 seconds.

Subject: Plantronics Voyager Legend with IOS 8.x
I just purchased the Voyager Legend and have updated to the latest
firmware.
Generally, it's working well but I do have one consistent issue when
attempting to use Siri. I can't get Siri to activate if VoiceOver is
running. If I turn VO off, Siri works just fine. This is on an iPhone 6
plus
running IOS 8.3. Any other Legend owners experiencing this? Any other
anomalies I should be aware of between the Legend and an iPhone 6 running
IOS 8.x?
Best regards,
Rick Alfaro
