True, although if you already know enough to get into iBooks and read through a book, which only takes some basic knowledge of your iPhone and VoiceOver then you'll learn a lot more about the other features of your iPhone. Plus it's good practice. Getting into my users guide on my iPhone was one of the first things I did, and I referred to it quite a bit in the beginning to learn different features about the iPhone.

Also, I was just pointing out that I don't have any problems reading the PDF file in iBooks on my iPhone, so if you haven't checked it out already, you may want to try downloading it and reading it on another device. Not all PDF's are created equal, and since this PDF reads so well in iBooks, it might also do well in Adobe or whatever your PDF reader of choice is.

I couldn't find a text version of the user guide by Googling for it, so while you're waiting for someone else to point you at it, you might try taking a look at the PDF file and seeing how well it reads.

BTW, it seems to me that I did use a tape to learn how to use my first cassette player from the NLS, and I used the built in help for my digital talking book player. I can understand if it isn't your cup of tea, but it can and has been done by others.

That won't work for me, because I do not want to use the iPhone to learn
to use the iPhone. That would be like getting the instructions on how
to use a tape recorder on a tape.

You're right about most PDF files. I'm not sure if you've checked out
the user's guide for the iPhone 6 yet or not. I've had no trouble
reading through it in iBooks on my iPhone.

AS .pdf files are, quite often, messy to read through, does anyone have,
or know where I can get, a user's guide for the iPhone 6 in text
format? Thanks.
