I am an AT&T customer, but have always bought my phones through the Apple store. I feel that the service provided by the Apple staff is far superior than you will get from the AT&T staff. The latter have to sell and service many kinds of devices, where the Apple staff only sell and service Apple products. I upgraded to the iPhone 6 at our local Apple store last weekend, and the support and service I received was steller. The sales associate even helped my wife set up her iCloud account, even though she didn’t get a new phone. He spent a lot of time with us, and we didn’t once feel rushed. I realize that not everyone has an Apple store nearby, but if you can get to one, I highly recommend giving it your business.
