This is closer to my memory pattern, Commador tend to be our first, if it
wasn't a BBC-Acorn. But Amstrad really started it with a 512k memory pc
with twin 5.25 floppy drives. I bought a 20Mb hd for that, called a file
card, it stuck up out the top of the case and got hot.

Well not to date myself but our first business computer had 64 K of memory
and 5-1/2 inch floppy drives, it was a KayPro CP/M unit and we never figured
we would use all that memory. The very first computer, my late husband's
toy was a Tandy Color computer with 4 K of memory and tapes to back it up
on, typical cassette tapes. We bought a 20 MB hard drive for the KayPro
later, never figured we could fill it.

I just bout a laptop for work with a terabyte of memory, a 500 GB hard
drive, GB back in the early 1980s was not even a dream for most of us.

I have a 128 iPhone because it was the last one I could take home from the
store, and I don't know just how much I have on it, a lot of Audible and NLS
books, that is for sure.

I was going for the 64 phone but they did not have one in stock.

Hey, I remember when you wondered how you'd fill a 40 meg hard drive.

Does anyone remember when a 250 gig hard drive was more than we figured that
we would ever need? Now, what do you have in the way of an internal hard
drive or external drives for backing up what is on the internal drive?

Unfortunately, iPhones are not expandable.

I agree that it is better to have and not need than need and not have.
However, I do not think that someone should feel compelled to run out
and get a 128 GB device just for the extra storage, especially if they
will never need it. That is a lot of space and will likely come at a
premium price. Currently I have around 4,000 songs, 120 apps, several
BARD books and other documents, and am using two thirds of the 64 GB
of space on my iPhone 6. I am completely happy with this since I've
got room to grow but not too much room. As has been stated before, it
depends on what you have to store. If you have hundreds of pictures,
lots of music and videos, and other media that takes up lots of space,
then by all means go for the 128 GB size. However, 64 GB should suit
most people. Since the 32 GB option is getting scarce, I would
recommend people consider the 64 GB size. If you truly don't have a
lot and don't see yourself getting a lot of apps and related media,
then 16 GB would work too. My wife is in this position, where she has
a growing collection of apps and pictures, but not a lot of other
media. She has a 16 GB iPhone 5C and is perfectly happy with it.

Best,
Wayne
