Hello List,
I reported a day or so ago that I'm getting a "This accessory may not be supported" message from my new iPhone 6 when I charge it using its lightning cable plugged into either a USB extension cable connected to my computer or one connected to the Apple AC adapter. At least one other confirmed this message and got a 2-meter lightning cable from the Apple Store in order to avoid it. I can now confirm that I only get this unsupported accessory message after my iPhone is fully charged. I believe others have also reported this same result. So, I decided to save the $30 on the 2-meter lightning cable and continue to use my USB extension cables to provide more length since the phone does charge with this arrangement.
