Hello List,

I reported a day or so ago that I'm getting a "This accessory may not be
supported" message from my new iPhone 6 when I charge it using its lightning
cable plugged into either a USB extension cable connected to my computer or
one connected to the Apple AC adapter. At least one other confirmed this
message and got a 2-meter lightning cable from the Apple Store in order to
avoid it.

I can now confirm that I only get this unsupported accessory message after
my iPhone is fully charged. I believe others have also reported this same
result. So, I decided to save the $30 on the 2-meter lightning cable and
continue to use my USB extension cables to provide more length since the
phone does charge with this arrangement.

If anyone thinks my approach could be detrimental to my iPhone, I'd love to
hear your comments. Thanks.
