Just tab to the next field and again use route Jaws to PC and a left mouse
click. When you are done tab to OK and activate it.

Thanks, Sieghard.

So, if, after changing the Song Title, say I then want to change the Artist.
How do I get from the first field edited to another? And, then, of course, make
sure the changes are saved as edited in iTunes.

Thanks, Keith

I described how to do this a few times when iTunes 12 first came out. Here are
the basic steps, I assume you are already in the “Get Info” screen:

1. Tab to the Details button and activate by pressing the spacebar.
Nothing obvious happens, but it is necessary to do this.

2. Tab a bunch of times until you get back to the Details button and past
all the other buttons and until you are, for example, on the Song Name or
artist field. Song name is first, and you will hear “Song name, read only”,
then if you tab again you hear what is in the song name field and it also is
announced as read only.

3. In order to get into this field where you can edit it, you have to
route the Jaws cursor to the PC cursor and then do a left mouse click. This
will put you into the edit field at the end of whatever is in the field. You
can backspace to erase it, use home to go to the beginning of the field and
read with say word or letter by letter and so on.

Good luck,

Sieghard

I noticed this problem with iTunes 12. No luck with jaws 15 or 16 not even
with NVDA.

Hi Folks,

As of this new version of iTunes, that being 12, or it could have happened in a
previous version, as to be completely honest, I haven’t updated, or edited my
music library in a really long time, I have noticed that I am not able to edit
the meta tag information for my music files, and, as a consequence, some tracks
appear out of sequence, and with the wrong display names, such as artists names
in the song titles area, or track titles containing the track numbers and the
like. I absolutely can’t stand my tracks being out of alphabetical order, it’s
almost an OCD thing with me, as I like an orderly house, at least where my
computer is concerned, not necessarily my home. LOL.

Anyway, can anyone tell me how to edit that information now in iTunes 12, Jaws
15, or Jaws 16, if I have to upgrade, and a computer running Windows 7 or 8.1,
as I have to do this on both computers.

Thanks in advance for your help.
