That was me, and what I said was:
If you're talking about the Mail app on the iPhone then you can hit the
edit button while in the Trash folder and use the delete all button at
the bottom of the screen.
I wasn't sure what email client you were talking about since you didn't
mention it in the body of the message and you just referred to Outlook
in your previous subject line. Unfortunately, not everyone posts
messages that are strictly on topic for this list and not every email
client feeds you the subject line of the message you're reading. Of
course, I should have assumed you were on topic and were referring to
the Outlook app on your iDevice. Sorry about that.
I was referring to the Mail app on your iDevice and not the Outlook app.
Sorry for the confusion. If you're using IMAP or Exchange, this could be
a useful work around though.
