This may be a silly question, but will the Alarmed app reminder activate if the app is closed, or does Alarmed need to be running in the background for the notification to activate?

You can set repeated reminders, and, using the paid version, you can have the alert nag you every minute until you go into the app and delete the reminder. Since I don’t always have my phone on my person, that’s a very handy feature. There is a free version and a purchase within the app option.
