Betas are not for everyone. If you are not technically minded or do not want to walk on the wildside, then betas should be avoided. When a new beta comes out for JAWS, I almost always will read through what's new and what has been fixed, but I never download any JAWS betas anymore since betas as a rule are unpredictable. And, since it is not a full release, the company offers no tech support for those brave or ambitious enough to test the beta. Certainly they are a great way to get the developer's feedback, but realize that betas are betas because the software is being tested and may not work perfectly all of the time.
