Hi Wain, I have done further testing and, while the state of a toggle of a setting is unfortunately not announced by vo, double-tapping on such settings does work. I checked this by double-tapping on buss in the trip planner settings and it got deselected and would not show up as an option in my next trip plan. I then returned to settings and double-tapped again on buss and got the option back for my routes.
I also got the alerts to work for me. Writing up a guide about the app today. Will post it on list.
