The Be My Eyes will probably be the best idea. You should check the thermostat's website for information on resetting the thermostat to factory defaults. When I did it, it was quite a process! The top part of the thermostat snapped off and the reset switch was in there on the top left corner of the thermostat... it was hard to reach, though because of its size and shape. Also, after hitting the reset switch, there were other steps that had to be completed before I could get it to reset completely. Also, after it was reset, my sighted son had to re-read the numbers in the corner of the thermostat as I tried to re-add it to my iPhone app.
