Neal,

I have the Verbatim Wireless Bluetooth Folding Keyboard and though I've
never really used it, I can attest that it has the kind of on/off switch
that shouldn't give you a problem. Although the Verbatim switch is small, it
does slide to the left to turn on and to the right to turn off and has a
definite clicked into position feel.

This is a full keyboard and folds in two which makes it more portable for
traveling. It has a sliding lock switch along the top edge left of center
that keeps the keyboard fairly stiff although using it on a table rather
than a lap is probably recommended. It comes with its own case and even has
an iPhone stand that slides into the case itself although I'm not sure it
will hold an iPhone 6. I never used the stand but tested that it held my
iPhone 5 okay. The keys are actual keys with no membrane and have a good
feel to them.

As I said, I never really used this because I became familiar with the
on-screen keyboard and the original Fleksy app and decided I didn't need a
separate keyboard.

Amazon sells this for $43.99 at this link:

Here's a TinyURL to the same link since that last one was 3 lines long and
might break:

More than one vendor sells this at Amazon and the main one that came up when
clicking the above link charges a little over $40 but adds on over $6 in
shipping. Other vendors including Amazon itself are listed on the right side
of the screen and by getting this from Amazon, you get free shipping since
it costs over $35.

I've had this in my drawer for going on two years now but it's been powered
off and the LED still burns brightly so the 2 AAA batteries must last a
while.

Good luck with your keyboard hunting.

Subject: Looking for a keyboard for my iPhone 6 that has a toggle on off
switch

Hi all. The subject says it all. I have the apple Bluetooth keyboard with
the end push button for on and off. I have to take out the batteries every
time I put it in my equipment case else the button at the end is often
pressed to the on position and my keyboard starts talking to my iPhone.

Someone told me about the Logitech keys to go keyboard which does have a
slide switch, but it is a keyboard under a membrane. Evidently the keys are
able to be felt, but I don't know how hard it would be to type on it. I like
the fact that it is rechargeable and the battery is supposed to last for
months. Does anyone use this keyboard, or are there others you might suggest
that have a toggle with for on and off?

Thanks much for your help.

Neal
