We can recommend certain external battery makers but as far as what's the best, that really depends on what features you want.
External batteries come in various mAh capacities and the higher the capacity, the more times it can charge your device and the larger it will be. Do you need an external battery that is able to charge your iPhone 6 plus multiple times before the battery itself must be recharged or do you want something smaller with less charging capacity? Both Anker and LimeFuel make excellent external battery products in a wide range of capacities. According to iFixIt, the iPhone 6 Plus battery has a 2915 mAh capacity so dividing the external battery's mAh rating by 2915 should give you a good measure of how many times that battery will recharge an iPhone 6 Plus. For example, an external battery with a 6400 mAh capacity should be able to charge an iPhone 6 Plus 2.2 times (6400 divided by 2915) before itself needing recharging. Amazon has a large selection of Anker and LimeFuel external batteries at competitive prices once you decide the features you want.
