Hi Richard, Yes, it did have a designated key combo...function key plus home. I've seen others that have function plus equals, and another which has function plus 5 on the numbers row. It's interesting that some do and some don't. Most of the time I hunt till I find what it is but the Amazon Basics hasn't given up its secret if it has one. You can unlock the screen by using the F1 key, but I haven't found a way to lock it.
