Numerous postings online have indicated that the watch will have VO and some
level of accessibility. To what degree it will be accessible...well, that's
going to be one of those things we'll just have to wait and see. There's what
can be considered accessible by meating the bare minimums and what will in
practice be truly accessible in the real world or what we as Voiceover users
would consider to be reasonably accessible.

I’m more interested in the actual time telling aspect of the watch. If there's
going to be at all any means of telling the time in a tactile way or if one
will only be able to check the time by having it spoken outloud. There has been
no hint that something like tactile feedback for time telling will be included.
Only buzzing for heart rate and notifications and so on. This for me at least
would be a deal breaker. Talking watches especially in a professional or work
setting get old and annoying real quick. They can become intrusive and tacky
and the last thing I want is for someone to know that I'm checking the time
every few minutes to see when their god awful presentation or conversation will
be over or mine for that matter.

Who knows, maybe not with this innitial model, but maybe down the road someone
will come up with a touch watch face and call it privacy or spy mode. Similar
to how the Tissot vibrating time pieces work.

Subject: Will Apple Watch be accessible with voiceover?

Can't find any documentation about this; it would be good to know if it were. A
friend of mine called Apple accessibility; the rep couldn't say for sure.
