I own this app from Japan. I did a quick comparison of it and KNFB reader a few months ago, reading the same document under the same conditions, and KNFBReader far outperformed the app from Japan. Now of course perhaps the less expensive app would have done well on some other sort of document, in some other situation, but my semi-scientific test did not motivate me to try further.
I bought the app because I could do so at the time, and wanted to test its claims. It received no buzz that I could discern up until now, so saw no point in bringing it up. Now that the app is getting some publicity, I mention this result.
