Hi. I have the Standscan Pro and I like it very much. I bought it about a year and a half ago when there were no other products like this available. I also bought the extra battery pack which uses eight AA batteries, which provides plenty of light. It costs about $40 for the Standscan Pro and the battery pack. They also sell the standscan without the light. The website for the standscan pro is <www.standscanpro.com>, I think. it's made in Hong Kong, but it's a good product, especially with the KNFB reader.
