To do a incripted backup first connect your iPhone to your computer. Next in iTunes tab to the iPhone button and then press space on it. Next tab to the review and make sure that summary is selected. Next tab to the incept iPhone backup check box and then press space to check it. next enter the password and then tab to the next field to enter the password again to confirm. then tab to the I think for the first time you do this It is called the set password button. Then press space on that and the backup should start.
