The odd thing with the iPhone 6 is sometimes, all it reads is the touch ID
or pass code prompt when a notification comes, even with speak notifications
on.

Hi Kristen all the way that I understand it it doesn't speak all
notifications in the lock screen anymore in other words it might tell you a
message and it might tell you who the messages from but it doesn't read the
content of what that message is that's the difference and that's what Apple
has defaulted it too because people were so concerned about privacy issues.

privacy issues. Therefore it is not a bug that they are not read it is
