I also have Ariadne GPS. it is good at tracking your location, but I do not
believe that you can create routes from within the app, and there is no POI
database, even though you can create and name your own.

You might investigate BlindSquare. Personally, I think it is a good
GPS app, but it does have its faults as does any app. I have both
SeeingEYE GPS & BlindSquare.
I'm interested to discover what other ListMembers chime in with on
