Well, speech is down to personal preference.  I don't like vocalizer.  If I 
did, I'd probably have a choice to use it on my android.  Lots of people do 
like it.  If not, you have choices.  You just install a new synth and off you 
go.

Where-as on IPhone, the speech API is locked town so you can't have system-wide 
voices or choose to use a different speech engine with your voiceover.  Which 
addresses the original question.
