Mine cracked a couple of months ago and I just performed surgery on them. I
used an old credit card. Cut it longwise to fit the width of the band. Placed a
piece on each side and wrapped it with electrical tape and all taken care of. I
still have the warranty replacement unit I received in its box untouched. The
sound function still worked fine and they were broken anyway, so I figured why
not give it a try. The credit card plastic works well, because it’s got enough
give to be flexible and is stirty to act as a good splint.

The complaints of the unit being too flimsy and easy to break are valid, but as
far as fixing the band and still getting them to work is relatively easy.
Hopefully future versions of this product will improve upon its design and
durability.

Subject: Another Aftershokz Bites the Dust.

This evening I put on my Aftershokz Bluez only to have the headband crack in
two places. I have always babied those things, and this is the 4th set to
break. The customer service folks are great, and I know they would replace the
headset if I asked, but I know that in a few months the new one will break
again. I’m done with them.

I'm not wearing a diaper, so don't try to change me.
