I'm guessing you're talking about Mail, not logging in on a web browser? If so, log in on a web browser (you'll have to enter a code sent to your phone the first time you do this).
Next, go to your settings on Google (not on Gmail) and hit the Security tab. You should find a link to manage app-specific passwords; activate that, then follow the steps on the screen to make a password for one of your devices. This is the password you'll enter into, say, the Mac's Mail app when you set up your account. Repeat the process as many times as you need to. Note that, when I tried this, I sometimes had problems with the Mac's Mail app ceasing to work correctly; I'd have to make and enter a new password every few months. For that and a few other reasons I eventually switched to iCloud mail. I didn't see this problem on any forums, though, so I must have just been lucky. > On Mar 25, 2015, at 3:32 AM, Eleanor Roberts > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi All > > I'm sure this topic has bbeen mentioned many times before.
