When that happened to me, it was because my simcard got unseated.

Every time I try to make a call (either from a contact or by dialing) I get a message that says call failed. Nor can I call my phone from another phone. The call goes directly to voicemail. I don't get it because yesterday everything was fine and other than the call failure the phone seems to be working.
