Hi Anna. Unfortunatley, this does not always solve the probem, as turning automatic braille translation on was the first thing I did when installing 8. Especially when someone is typing on a bluetooth keyboard, the 8-dot full cell appears at each end of the display instead of tracking the text like it used to. Also, as others have reported, input is rather sluggish, particularly on devices older than the iPhone 6/6+. Also, the full cell still presents itself when in uncontracted 6-dot or 8-dot computer braille. What's even worse is this is also happening on Yosemite now also.
