Since the upgrade to IOS8
, I too hear about IOS updates before notifications appear on my devices.
I'm not sure why that is. However, despite this, I have been able to find
all updates in settings and download and install them with no problem.

I've been following the threads about the latest update. I don't seem to
have any notification of it. I looked at the updates in settings and
nothing is there, I've noticed that I've been behind with other updates as
well. Do they send out notification/links in batches?
