Hi all. After posting on this thread early this morning, I had a look at
Pandora reviews in the app store. I found that the collection of reviews was
a mixed bag; some were stellar, some were scathing. As expected, some people
absolutely love Pandora and a while back I would have counted myself in that
group. But there are a number of folks who have gripes about its interface, as
I do, and, there are some who wrote reviews to fuss about significant
degradation of the app's performance as well as significant degradation of
phone responsiveness overall when Pandora's running in the background. Very
interesting indeed. By the way, none of those negative reviews about
performance degradation mentioned VoiceOver, so I presume that a goodly number
of sighted folks out there who aren't running VoiceOver or Zoom are having this
issue. So, lest we succumb to temptation to kvetch about how we VoiceOver
users got screwed with the latest Pandora update, there seems to be ample
evidence that the app has become increasingly buggy and glitchy and we would-be
kvetchers ain't alone in the wilderness fussing about how Pandora's performance
of late really sucks, with or without VoiceOver. .
