Hi Dean, I'm not sure that you can currently launch a search entirely with the Bluetooth keyboard. You can run a search in Simplenote with the a keyboard in combination with touching the screen. It sounds as though an entire Bluetooth keyboard search and find in text applications might be in the works for a later iOS version, since you do hear the response to VO+f. The way this works on the Mac in apps like TextEdit is that pressing the "Return" key (also known as "Enter" key) after typing the word takes you there. Pressing VO+g takes you to the next occurrence of your search term and pressing VO+Shift+g takes you to the previous occurrence.
The way I run a search within Simplenote is by selecting my notes category, or else "All Notes" and then navigating to the search field. I type in the search terms I want, and then press "Return" to launch the search. Then I navigate to the notes that contain the search terms I want, and select the note I want. If you touch the screen just below the heading (e.g., by moving your finger vertically down from the status bar and past the document name), you'll shift focus to the first line that matches your search terms. If I want to find the next match I use VO+Right arrow to move past the "btnPrev" button to the "btnNext" button and press it with VO-Space. Then I touch the screen just below the heading to move focus to the next match. HTH.
