First, try doing the pass through gesture, double-tap and hold then when you hear the tri-tones do another double tap. If that doesn't work, you will want to contact the app developer. If they don't provide a contact link in the app, look at the app store description and toward the very bottom there is often a spot that says app support or developer website, double tap on that spot and you should find more information.
