Subject: Amazon echo app, Newly inaccessible?
Hello all,
Sometime ago, I ordered an Amazon echo. A friend of mine has also
ordered one. We are both waiting for them, but in the meantime, I
understand from a correspondence off this list, but the app for iOS
has become inaccessible. This greatly decreases the functionality of
the echo, as I understand it. I wonder what others experiences are
with this app. It strikes me as highly ironic that an app that you
need to use in order to take full advantage of the screenless device
would be in accessible to the blind. But this does seem to be in line
with Amazon's recent trend of steps back, for instance in their Amazon
app for iOS. Very unfortunate if the accessibility is as bad as it
seems to be. Comments welcome.
