I suspect that whether the link works or not is a function of the email client being used to access the post. If you access it using the mail app on your iDevice as I did, the full link is properly marked and the podcast plays fine. If you access it on a computer email client and your settings are set to format messages as plain text, I bet the link is displayed over more than one line and the link normally breaks after the first line in such a case.
