Hello Steve and others, I had a equivalent problem with my iphone4 and I have posted it here some days ago but I didn't know how to describe. IN my situation, after stopping the recording , e.g. a length of about 8 seconds is shown but when I press the play button, I hear nothing and when I look again , the time is reduced to 0 seconds.
so, it seems the audio is not saved or deleted. Is this what you mean?
