Double tap the menu button at the top left of the screen in the Youtube app. Starting at the top you have “Your account” followed by your Google account email address if you are signed in, if not you have to of course sign in before you can upload. If you swipe to the right, the next item is “Settings”, then “What to Watch” and after that is “My Channel”, after My Channel is the “Upload” button. I have heard the videos app is ok for recording, but upon downloading the youtube app, I see no button for uploading my stuff.
