I am using an iPhone 6, running 8.3. I am running late now, so do not have time to confirm the following. I tapped both the delete button next to the book, both in the section with the book parts displayed, plus in my library in general. Nothing seemed to happen, but I then removed Audible from the app switcher, after having messed with these delete buttons. When I restarted Audible, the book is gone. I don't know if it will work every time, or any other time, but it worked this time.

Subject: Delete broken in latest audible update?

I just downloaded the latest audible update to my iPhone 5s. I don't use this app on the phone very often. I decided I wanted to get rid of a rather long book that has been on the phone for sometime, in order to free up some much needed space. I cannot find a way to do this. There is a delete button, which, when you double tap it, appears to do something. That is, I get the series of little ascending tones that you get say, when you tap a link and you're going to a new page. In a web browser. However, nothing seems to happen. The book is still there. Double tap and hold on the book title. You get a choice of Mark S finished, see book details, or cancel. So, it looks like audible has broken the delete feature, at least for phones. I haven't tried this on my iPad, which is mostly where I use the app. Has anyone successfully updated and then been able to delete a book? If so, how?
Mary
