I can't reproduce this with the current version of the app. that is to say
deletion is not possible for me with this version That would be version
number: 2.5.0 (365).

On the library page you need to check the Device link so you go to the tab
where the books on your phone are located. Then when you click on delete,
the remove option will appear next to all the books currently on your phone.

After receiving on his message, I went back to the audible app, having first
taken it out of my app switcher. I double tap the delete button, and look
for a remove X, where X is the book title. No luck. I get book title, menu,
and who are the narrators, and progress. But no delete. Not with touching or
flicking. Again, this is on the phone, not a template. Maybe I have to
uninstall and then reinstall. Very strange. Looking forward to seeing what
others experience.
