I would try backing up your content to iCloud and then before you give away your iPhone go to settings general reset and then choose erase all content and settings so when the next owner gets the phone it will llook like it came out of the box. Yes with you Iphone 6 during setup on the device it self it will ask you if you want to set up as a new iPhone or restore from backup.
