well,
I use both jaws on windows and voiceover on my mac whitebook (OS X Lion). Each
has their strengths and weaknesses. I have run across a situation or 2 where
the app is multi platform and not accessible either way (I will use chirp radio
programming software as an example). On both windows and OS X, the opening nag
screen scroll area is inaccessible using either jaws or voiceover. Jaws has
that invisible cursor feature (something I wish voiceover had), but that
doesn't even work on chirp.

anyway, each has their points, but if the software is inaccessible regardless
of the screen reader, then its the software developers problem to solve (unless
of course, they don't want our money).
