There is an app called tex 2 group, It cost 9 sek wich i gues will be
around 1 dollar. you can create an sms or emmail list for your friends,
organisation and so on.... another thing you may can do, is if it's sms
you are looking after, add that persons you would like to send a group
sms to. send an trial sms and don't delete it from message. little
clumzy, i know, but it works. then next time you would like to send an
group sms to that person, go in to app message, and find that sms an use
it again.

Don't waste your time.
I tried both their app called Groups and the one called Group Contacts.
Groups is the latest version of their apps.
Both of them have in-app purchases, but I didn't get that far to see
what features you have to pay for.
But, when you give it permission to access your contacts, you find
yourself in your contacts, just like you had opened the contacts app.
Then, you are stuck there as there are no other options.
I tried double tapping on a couple several contacts but nothing changed.
So I decided to try searching for a name and found that the search
field will not activate.
You cannot edit that field.
So, keep looking.
