If swiping doesn't work for whatever reason, you can also do a double tap and hold and then drag your finger around the screen until you hit 0 percent. I say that if the usual gestue doesn't work since the first time I used the control, my rodar wasn't set to adjust value. Only later did I realize that adjust value was available. Oh well, whatever works.
