I was somewhat disappointed today when Apple announced that Apple Pay would be expanded in the US to include even more banks, credit cards and retailers. Also Apple announced that Apple Pay would be available in the UK soon, but there was no word about Apple Pay coming north across the border into Canada. Given that it sounds iOS 9 will give an even better user experience with respect to responsiveness, battery life and so on on older devices, I highly doubt I will upgrade to the new iPhone this fall from my 5S. If Apple Pay were available here in Canada there is a good chance I would upgrade, but without this there would have to be some serious new features or improvements to the next generation iPhone to persuade me to upgrade.
