First open preferences. If you are using windows go to the edit menu and then go to preferences. If you are using a mac use command , to open preferences. Next choose general. Next choose import settings. Next in the inport using popup choose the incoder you want to use such as mp3 incoder. Then choose okay to save the changes. Next find the voice memo. Then go to file.
