Yes, those speakers do exist. I have one. It's a ball about 2 inches high with a 4 inch wire sticking out ending in a 3.5 Mm jack. The speaker comes with a charging cable which ends in a USB plug for recharging the speaker. The sound quality is good enough for spoken word audio books or NLS books. On a full charge, the speaker gives around 8 hours battery life. In my opinion, there are other choices. The round ball when not being recharged or plugged in can be easily knocked off a desk or nightstand. Even a small fold out foot would of fixed the short coming. If your willing to put up with that minor issue it's a nice talking point and may even help you meet new friends. Where the H**l did you get that they may ask and pow! new conversation leading to your marrage and 6 kids. Or not!
