It's also my understanding that NLS wil release an updated version of BARD
mobile when ios 9 is released.

I will just say this, and only this. iOS 9 is running beautifully on my
iPhone 4s. So it should be the same on the first generation iPad Mini. In
case you're wondering, yes I am running a beta of iOS 9 from a legitimate
source, my Apple Developer membership which I renewed in May.

I'm not experiencing anything like that on my iPhone or iPad or my old
iPhone 4 32 GB. The iPhone 4 is great for downloading NLS books to as the
phone part is not active sense I got my 5s. It makes a good NLS player.
I should also say that my iPhone 4 is connected to my WI-FI network and
you can fit a lot of books on a 32 GB iPhone.

From within the Bard app (iPhone 5 iOS 8.3) the app consistently
crashes on me while in my wishlist of books. I don’t ever recall it

Anyway, does the Bard app crash on others as well? I poked around in
the settings tab but didn’t really find any means to contact the
development team about it. I’m guessing one would have to do so through
the regular website contact information there?
