I'm curious about an issue I've experienced a couple of times since I've gotten my iPhone 6. I use gmail for email and don't think I have it set with any extra security features. However, when I've tried getting email at a couple of places using their wifi as opposed to my home wifi or cellular, I get a message saying gmail was unable to get my mail and directing me to check my user name and password. This happens even though nothing has changed with my user name or password and I'm just accessing mail through another wifi network. I had to go into the mail settings and re-enter my user name and password before it would work. Powering off the phone had no effect.
I don't travel that much but I find this to be really inconvenient and if anyone knows of a setting to change to avoid this, I'd love to hear what it is. Thanks in advance.
